2016 XT5 Interior Design

What can we expect the interior on the XT5 to look like with Cadillac's new design strategy?

CTS with a bit of Escalade, not too much but just enough.

Being an SUV they'll want to pull some cues from its flagship.

I imagine that the centre stack will be pretty much the same. I think Cadillac has some of the nicest interiors right now so whatever they do I think that I will be happy.

What parts from the Escalade interior do you think we might see?

If interior stays close enough to the Escalade, ELR style of interior i'll be happy.

I've just found a picture of this little cubby under the front center console and it doesn't look very useful aside from whatever that port is under there.

Cadillac engineering at its finest. Luckily that little cubby is from the 2017 model and I don't think it made it through to the current generation XT5. Rumor has it that the new redesign (2019) is coming with a pretty significant change to the interior. I think I've found what is supposed to look like. Thoughts?

Still a far cry from the Elmiraj concept which we need more of if Cadillac really wants to rival brands like Mercedes and BMW.
