Auto123 reviews the 2018 XT5
Auto review has just posted up a first drive review of the new XT5. With steep competitors from Lexus, BMW, Audi, Lincoln and Volvo, Cadillac is hoping that both this redesign and the new XT4 will help bolster their sales. Ordinary accelerations
No audio volume knob!

That price tag spikes alarmingly as you head up the trim levels

Even the Platinum edition came with fairly non-descript wheels

Its pretty crazy that there is a $20k difference in price between the base model ($49k) and top end Platinum trim ($71k). Interested buyers are going to have to carefully consider which additional options are really worth the extra cash. I know typically those in the market for a luxury crossover aren't too concerned with performance figures, but the XT5 is still lagging behind key rivals in the powertrain department.
